God Is Wonderful

Placing our focus on God is a really good thing to do. I know from firsthand experience that being really convicted with the Holy Spirit is a prosperous and worthy life. It does not matter how much one earns in income and let along, how big his possessions are. These things will pass away, as all individuals in the world must one day part and enter eternalty. How can I be certain that there is eternity? I am rightly convinced that there is a God. God is believed by 96% of all individuals in the world. To claim He does not exist is really bad merit because we all exist in a certain timeline and will never travel backwards or forwards to see the end of the world or its beginning. Evidence for the big bang and scientific research is always being tested. Likewise, it is not to absolute moral considerations that people can personally hold their own gods. Every exact detail, every person goes through in the world is not recorded in anybody's book! We certainly can't be 100% right all the time. It is of great value to trust and allow it to grow as you invest more into it.

The Bible is not just a work of art. It's the oldest book in the Bible. It details the creationism of God and His love for man. It is simple to base our beliefs off of conditional merits, but we are only human and not perfect. The egotist is always ignoring things he doesn't like- just think about taking things for granted and then losing them. The perfectionist is always constantly battling something. We are all driven to please someone or something in our life to obtain satisfaction at one point. Let's really consider how life would be like making God proud.

Life As We May Know It

Life is filled with many distractions. Currently, I'm trying to raise enough money to start a home business. I believe that when our life is away from the Bible, then we are missing out on being fed the word of God. Our walk with the Lord is a commitment and not always a very easy journey. We stumble across many different obstacles, but it's nothing to be alarmed of. Just imagine a person who cared so much for this world, he would sit 24-7 in the torturous weather of a desert day and night without any food for thirty days and thirty nights. This person would be at the brink of death, possibly highly annoyed with civilization, and in a proud mood for accomplishing a human milestone! Let's see what happened instead.

The man received three temptations from the devil: he stated "You claim yourself to be God, why not throw yourself off a cliff and let the angels catch you. Turn these stone to bread." The man then rejected the devil and said "Thou shallt not tempt God." The third time, the devil showed this man the world bowing and worshiping the man. The devil stated, "The world is yours, if you only bow before me." The man rejected this offer. It would be really difficult for any religious leader to pass up the offer of being idolized without any compromise or detecting the powerful devil was the man's enemy at the time. It seems fair enough that the man would feel he has authority over the devil. None of that long fasting really caught the man by surprise or turned him into a nut-case, as probably would have been for any of us in the world. This spiritual message has revolutionized the lives of countless millions in the modern world/ "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life." (John 3:16) This man who came into the world to fast in the desert claimed himself to be the Son of Man, Jesus. He would then later resurrect from an unfair crucifixion and be referred to as Christ by His believers. The Bible we know today is still relevant to this world.

Fwd: How to save yourself under heart attack when alone

Subject: What are you to do

What are you to do if you have a heart attack while you are alone. If you've already received this, it means people care about you ...
The Johnson City Medical Center staff actually discovered this and did an in-depth study on it in our ICU The two individuals that discovered this then did an article on it .. had it published and have even had it incorporated into ACLS and CPR classes.
It is very true and has and does work. It is called cough CPR. A cardiologist says it's the truth ... For your info ...If everyone who gets this sends it to 10 people, you can bet that we'll save at least one life.
Read This...It could save your life! Let's say it's 6:15 p.m. and you're driving home (alone of course), after an usually hard day on the job. You're really tired, upset and frustrated. Suddenly you start experiencing severe pain in your chest that starts to radiate out into your arm and up into your jaw. You are only about five miles from the hospital nearest your home. Unfortunately you don't know if you'll be able to make it that far.
What can you do? You've been trained in CPR but the guy that taught the course, didn't tell you what to do if it happened to yourself.
Since many people are alone when they suffer a heart attack , this article seemed to be in order. Without help, the person whose heart is beating improperly and who begins to feel faint,< B> has only about 10 seconds left before losing consciousness.
However, these victims can help themselves by coughing repeatedly and very vigorously. A deep breath should be taken before each cough, and the cough must be deep and prolonged, as when producing sputum from deep inside the chest. A breath and a cough must be repeated about very two seconds without let up until help
arrives, or until the heart is felt to be beating normally again.
Deep breaths get oxygen into the lungs and coughing movements squeeze the heart and keep the blood circulating. The squeezing pressure on the heart also helps it regain normal rhythm. In this way, heart attack victims can get to a hospital. Tell as many other people as possible about this, it could save their lives!

Prayers For Living

Being able to rely on God is a really important benefit for all Christians. We know through the Bible and His revealings of prophecies that have already been verified with the Dead Sea Scrolls, we serve the only and true Living God. It's a fact that is not taken very seriously by many intellectuals and other religious leaders today. I think it's really important for a person to go on his or her own spiritual journey, instead of trying to always stay inside a box- we do not always have to take an expert's word for it. All men of God tell their godly brethren to read the Scriptures, themselves.

I think the best way to start a closer walk with God is start through prayer, open up the pages of the Bible, and fellowship with other believers. It's hard sometimes, but we all could sure use just a little more faith in God. Philippians 4:6 says, "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God." (NKJV). Life can get really stressful, and sometimes we just want to rely on our own wisdom to get things done. Walking in the Spirit of the Lord makes tasks feel so much lighter and less burdensome. We all just want to amazingly get things done. It's like our bodies were made to worship a being and be reliant on an ultimate source for our strength, growth, encouragement, and provisions. Want to know what else is good? Caring about others and we can just as well intercede for them through our prayers and concerns. I know that I've been touched by prayers through the Spirit, just feels like a mystery. Friends, God is the answer to our problems!

Participatory Note

I'm currently involved with Calvary Chapel Downey, which is a great ministry to be a part of. I attend the prayer meetings from Monday-Friday, from 6:30-7:30 am. On Saturday, I attend a prayer meeting from 8:00 am - 9:00 am and then go for a door-to-door ministry. It's really exciting to take in a part of doing things that a normal Christian should do.

I sort of feel that sometimes we all want to do a lot of things, but get side-tracked with other feelings that discourage us from doing them. I think time does fly by fast and when a person just sits there idly, he or she is really missing out on a lot of fun things. It's a part of life that sometimes when we share something to others that we don't expect is a big deal but feel that it benefits, it affects those around us and these people can surly vex us. In a way, sharing sometimes promotes getting placed a chip on the shoulder by someone. I think it's good to share out of love and not just to inspire misery. All in all, it's a learning process and an adjustment period for everyone; as long as good intentions are being worked for, and we are in account to the Lord, I don't think any wrong that's been done to true Christians really matters.
