This is just one of my hypothesis: just as the Bible states to ask in the will of the Lord and then have promise to receive it, we need to be committed to God's commands and do what is expected of us after making a huge prayer. All of us should be frank and not shy about our intent. Yes, we can all get a shy about not wanting to offend others. As long as our hearts are willing to following the Lord's, we have nothing to worry about. A Christian adage goes "God is always good."
I think many people who live for their own pleasures forget about their thoughts of how people are placed in life is always selfish. They may be wise in their own eyes, but even a sluggard who turns on a bed and won't even lift a finger to feed himself, doesn't subject to the perfect advise! (Proverbs 26:16). Our hearts need to be under constant check and in the mood for being at peace with others. It happens, but some people won't do it under the Lord's favor for whatever reason. As long as we are right with the Lord, we have done our part. The other guy will have a lot of explaining to do with the Lord in a time of judgment. Vengeance belongs to the Lord and not with our own feat.
