Life is Short

Life feels so short for me. It's like when things look really good for others, then it's likely that what they are going through is also going to happen to you. There are a lot of opportunities that our eyes and hears can't catch sometimes. I don't think it's necessarily that big of a deal to just think about being successful. Thinking big is just one thing, but putting it into action is a totally different ball game. A reasonable assumption is that the world packs Christianity into all the other religions; what makes this characterization strange is that it's whacked out, compared to Buddism, Hinduism, Krishna, etc. Christians are possibly scorned all over the world. First of all, Americans are seen upon by the world as Christians, and I can surely tell you that we are not seen very positively by the Muslim world of the Middle East. Secondly, Israel and Christianity go hand in hand, and most of the council in the U.N. disapprove of Israel being a nation. Just think of so much conflict going on there between the Israelites and Palestinians; at a point in time, I wanted to create a video game - titled "Israel vs Palestinians: End of World Conquest."

According to the Scriptures, Israel becoming a nation is in God's rightful plan, and what a joy it is for our generation to be able to sense that God's kingdom may be a little closer. There is a sense of this urgency in time running out. Even though we may never be great as evangelicals like Billy Grahm and Charles Spurgeon, God still uses our gifts and talents to minister to those who need it. I will pray that the local congregations I'm involved in will be blessed with further spiritual movements to expand God's kingdom.
